I read all of the Percy Jackson and the Olympians books by Rick Riordan. I'm so proud I finished the five books and I loved them so much. There were good characters, action packed scenes, and a great idea. Because of these books I know a exhaustive list of Greek gods and monsters. I plan to read more books of Rich's too.
I really liked these characters. Percy is brave and unpredictable, Grover is funny and good hearted, Annabeth is strong and a powerful character. My favorite characters are probably Rachel because she was smart and creative, and Nico because I fell like he is strong and a force to be reckoned with but, he didn't even have a cabin. These characters got even more amazing in the fight scenes.
I loved seeing these fight scenes. I really liked seeing Nico, Percy, and Thalia using their special powers instead of fighting traditionally. The monsters they were fighting felt invincible and impossible to beat then, someone would become stronger, faster, and even more powerful and that would change once again. But, it still wasn't my favorite part of the books.
My favorite part of the books was the idea. Demigods: the ordinariness of humans, and the strength, and skills of a god. I loved how the characters were huge. I loved how they couldn't be stopped and take down armies. I adored everything about that. I love it.
In conclusion, I would read these books 100 times. I laughed with Grover, was on the edge of my seat in battles with Annabeth and Nico, and loved how Percy is an unstoppable force, and how Rachel was normal but, still made a difference. Rich Riordan is an amazing writer, and the Percy Jackson books prove that.
