Beautiful Creatures Opinions

I saw Beautiful Creatures everywhere

before I started reading it. I disliked it to say the least. It's a fiction

book and it's pretty big too. It kind of reminded me of Twilight with the small town, character that thinks they're too big for the small town, and a girl/boy everyone should stay away from at school.

Many said it wasn't good, and that they liked it less as the years passed but, I thought that maybe I'll think differently from them. It was horrible. I got less than half way but, I had no reason to continue. The characters weren't original or different. The book is too big because I'm not going to want to drag myself through it. Ethan Wate (main character) is BORING. I could't read more.

So, I decided to see the movie on Netflix. It was just as bad. I spotted a ton of differences from the book in the first minutes.

1- Ethan doesn't talk like that.

3- He doesn't draw.

4- Amma makes him breakfast he doesn't.

5- Link picks him up at his house not the other way around.

At this point I stopped the movie and wondered why I wasted my time.

I didn't like the book or movie it just wasn't my thing.

I didn't think I has good expectations coming into this but, I was so disappointed that I must've had some kind of hope for this.I feel like Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl just wanted to make money so they decided to make a worse version or Twilight but, instead off vampires they decided witches.
